Shipping & Delivery for Your Liquidation Pallets

Congratulations on your liquidation purchase! To ensure a smooth and transparent process Shipping & Delivery for Your Liquidation Pallets, we have detailed our shipping and delivery procedures. Due to the size, weight, and commercial nature of liquidation pallets and truckloads, all orders are shipped via Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight. This policy outlines everything you need to know about receiving your merchandise safely and efficiently.

Our Shipping Method: LTL Freight

All liquidation pallets and larger orders are shipped using trusted LTL freight carriers. This is the industry standard for transporting large, heavy items that do not require a full semi-truck.

• What to Expect: The carrier will transport your pallet(s) on a large truck. You will be contacted in advance to schedule a delivery appointment.
• Delivery Location: Deliveries are made to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift. Residential deliveries are possible but may incur additional fees and have different requirements (see below).

Shipping Costs & Quotes

Shipping is not a flat rate and is calculated based on several factors. To get an accurate shipping quote, please contact us with your order details and destination zip code.

• Factors Influencing Cost:
  • Pallet Dimensions & Weight: The size and total weight of your order.
  • Destination: The distance from our warehouse to your delivery address.
  • Carrier Rates: Current fuel surcharges and rates from our freight partners.
  • Residential Fee: An additional charge if delivering to a home or non-commercial location.
  • Liftgate Fee: An additional charge if you require a liftgate for delivery (see below).

Delivery Requirements & Your Responsibilities

To ensure a successful delivery, it is critical that you understand and prepare for the following requirements.

Commercial vs. Residential Delivery

• Commercial Delivery (Standard): This is the most cost-effective option. The delivery location must be a registered business with standard operating hours (e.g., 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday). A loading dock or forklift is required for the driver to unload the pallet from the truck.
• Residential Delivery: If you are a home-based business or need delivery to a residential address, please inform us upfront. This service incurs a significant residential delivery fee from the carrier. You will still be responsible for unloading the pallet from the truck.

Liftgate Service

A liftgate is a hydraulic platform on the back of the truck that lowers the pallet to the ground.

• When is it Needed? You must request liftgate service if your delivery location does not have a loading dock or forklift to remove the pallet from the truck.
• Additional Cost: Liftgate service is an optional, additional fee charged by the freight carrier. You must add this to your order or request it in your shipping quote. Failure to do so may result in the driver being unable to complete the delivery.

Receiving Your Shipment: Inspection is Crucial

Upon arrival, it is your responsibility to inspect the shipment before signing for it.

1. Check for Damage: Visually inspect the pallet and shrink wrap for any major signs of damage (e.g., broken pallet boards, torn wrap, crushed boxes).
2. Note Damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL): If you see any damage, you must clearly note it on the BOL (the delivery receipt) by writing “SUBJECT TO INSPECTION” or detailing the specific damage (e.g., “Corner of pallet damaged”).
3. Take Photos: Take clear photos and videos of the pallet on the truck before it is unloaded.
4. Sign the BOL: Once noted, you can sign for the delivery.

WARNING: If you sign for the delivery and do not note any damage on the BOL, the freight carrier considers the shipment accepted in good condition. This will make it nearly impossible to file a successful claim for any hidden or visible damage discovered later.

Order Processing & Timelines

• Processing Time: Most orders are processed and ready for shipment within 1-3 business days after payment is cleared.
• Transit Time: Transit times vary based on your location but typically range from 2-7 business days after the pallet is picked up by the carrier.
• Tracking: Once your shipment is dispatched, we will provide you with a tracking number and the carrier’s contact information so you can monitor its progress and schedule the delivery appointment.

International Shipping

At this time, we do not offer international shipping for liquidation pallets. All deliveries are restricted to addresses within the contiguous United States.

Claims for Damage or Loss

If you discover concealed damage after the driver has left (e.g., after you unbox the items), you have a limited window to file a claim with the carrier.

• Action Required: You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged product and the BOL where you noted the damage.
• Our Role: We will assist you in filing a claim with the freight carrier. However, the success of the claim is ultimately determined by the carrier’s policies. This is why noting damage on the BOL at the time of delivery is absolutely critical.
